Safety Boat Course

The safety course is a two-day course providing the skills required when acting as a safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, or for racing or training activities. It includes various rescue techniques, towing techniques. We target this directly at the techniques required for managing our boats and the different techniques which may be required. We also look at how to recover sailors from the water in the event of an immersion. To do this course, you do need a Powerboat Level II certificate (PB2).
