Alton Water Cancellations
You can cancel at anytime after booking. If you booked online you can use the members portal or select Cancel beside the booking you wish to cancel.
If the booking was made for you then please use the Contact form.
Woolverstone Cancellation
Please use the Contact form to let us know if you are not attending up to two weeks before your booking to avoid cancellation fees. The earlier the better as this allows other sailors an opportunity to sail. From two weeks prior to your session, cancellation fees are applied at the booking rate.
We appreciate there are times when things go wrong at the last minute. That's fine, we understand. Under extenuating circumstances you may apply to the board of trustees for a Waiver using the Contact form with the subject APPEAL.
48 Hours or less
If you are running late on the day please call the Operations manager on 07470 021 454. Unfortunately, we are unable to receive texts.
No Show Fee
This will be the same as your booking fee i.e you forfeit any refunds.
Woolverstone fees
For Exclusive Use bookings the fee is for the sole use of the boat and not the number of passengers you bring with your group.
For groups sharing a boat your sailing fee will be for the number of persons booked and not how many are attending.
Cancellation for Operational Reasons
The Woolverstone Project reserves the right to cancel sailing session for operational reasons such as adverse weather, shortage of crew or technical issues.
Alton Water - We have a Session Information Action Line for you to check if a session has been cancelled due to adverse weather on 07375 915 777 (recorded message).
Woolverstone - If the conditions are considered unsuitable on the day the Duty Session Leader or Operations manager will contact you. So please ensure your contact details are up to date.
