Refreshing the compound ...

We have been busy in our enforced down time from sailing and many thanks to all the volunteers who have helped with work parties to prepare everything for this season. The boats have been cleaned, the shed and the clubhouse painted and cleaned and we now have a new larger compound. The long dry spell made it quite challenging to dig the new holes for the extended fence line, but fuelled by coffee and cake the team did a great job. The compound now extends outwards at the far end, giving us much more storage space for all the boats. This will make managing sessions without the clubhouse much easier and we hope, much more comfortable for everyone.

We even had approval from the visiting swan, though he did snoop around in all the toolkits to check what we were doing.
